Juratek invests in comprehensive workplace training to support employee wellbeing and development

Juratek has further demonstrated its commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of its team by investing in a wide range of specialised training programmes.

These initiatives aim to support staff in their roles and create a supportive, inclusive workplace environment. The recent training achievements includes senior members of the team completing a CPD-certified menopause awareness course.

Juratek has also reported that several team members have successfully completed other essential training programmes, including First Aid training, ensuring they are prepared to respond to medical emergencies, and Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) training, further reinforcing the team’s knowledge of workplace safety and health standards.

Additionally, the company’s Fire Marshals team has been strengthened with the completion of fire safety training and Mental Health First Aid training has been successfully completed by key members of the team, enabling them to provide crucial support to colleagues experiencing mental health challenges.

These training initiatives are part of Juratek’s broader strategy to ensure that all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to support both their own well-being and that of their colleagues. By offering a variety of training programmes, Juratek aims to create a work environment where everyone feels respected, supported and empowered.

“We recognised that regular workplace training is crucial for creating an environment of continuous learning and growth,” said Annemarie Hutton, HR manager, Juratek. “Whether it’s understanding the challenges posed by the menopause or learning how to provide mental health first aid, these courses help us to be more empathetic and better prepared to support our colleagues. Juratek is committed to investing in its people, and this training is a vital part of creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.”
